The range

One strain.
Two forms.

Capsules for adults and sachets for children — a premium LGG probiotic in a clean, recognisable design.

Sound familiar?

Bloating. Gas.
Heaviness. Diarrhea.

Antibiotics, stress and diet disrupt the balance of gut microflora. This imbalance is no small thing: it affects digestion, immunity and how you feel every day.

01

Antibiotic-associated diarrhea

A course of antibiotics washes out beneficial bacteria along with the pathogens.

02

Episodes of gas and bloating

Disrupted microflora struggles to handle fermentation and balance.

03

Microbiome imbalance

Stress and diet shift the gut ecosystem towards dysbiosis.

Technology

Microencapsulation.
Bacteria that arrive alive.

Live probiotic microorganisms are enclosed in a protective microcapsule. The shell shields the bacteria from a harsh environment and delivers them to the gut alive — right where they are meant to work.

  • The microcapsule protects the strain all the way to its site of action
  • ≥ 10 billion AFU* of active cells per dose
  • HPMC shell · vegetarian capsule
  • ISO 19344:2015 — live cell counting by flow cytometry

*AFU — Active Fluorescent Units.

What the studies show

ESPGHAN · strong recommendation WGO · first-choice probiotic
23% → 9.6%

Antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children

Incidence during antibiotics is cut by more than half (NNT 8). A high dose delivers the maximum effect.

Szajewska et al., J Pediatr Gastroenterol Nutr, 2016 — ESPGHAN recommendation
No.1

Among probiotics — efficacy and tolerability

LGG ranked first both for efficacy against AAD and for tolerability in a large network meta-analysis.

Cai et al., United European Gastroenterol J, 2018 — 51 RCTs, 9,569 participants
−40%

Prevention of atopic dermatitis

The risk of eczema by age 2 with perinatal use (mother + infant) is significantly lower (RR 0.60).

Voigt & Lele, Am J Clin Dermatol, 2022 — meta-analysis of 11 RCTs
~1 day

Shorter duration of acute diarrhea in children

Meta-analyses show diarrhea shortened by ~24 hours on average and a shorter hospital stay.

Li et al. 2019 · McFarland et al. 2021 — meta-analyses

The data shown relate to the Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG strain (ATCC 53103) from international publications. LactaViva is a dietary supplement, not a medicinal product. Consult a doctor before use.
